In my tank we had 6 white cloud mountain minnows and 6 zebra danios, and have recently added
2 panda corydoras
2 honey gouramis
4 barbs (I can't remember the name, but they are orange with a black spot behind their gills and dorsal fins)

When we go to feed the fish our zebra danios (and to a lesser extent the minnows)seem to get all of the food as they are the fastest fish in there and stay near the top. We tried putting food into the bottom of the tank by hand, but the fish swam away, giving the danios and minnows more food!
So, do any of you know what we should do?

Ok have you tried any type of sinking pellet?
This will give the lower inhabitants time to feed.
danios take longer to eat pellets as they need to
soften them first by keep sucking on them and
spitting them out, as least mine do.
you could also try frozen or live daphnia, as this
will disperse in the water quicly and gives the whole
tank a chance to eat.
