Hey there,

Had my 4 honey gouramis for about 2 months. when I got them they were a dull grey all over and not in top condition. But now they are all looking good, except I have discovered I have two males. I can tell this because half thier body turns black and they send the day fighting each other and then chasing females, occsasionally peacefully making bubbles :) BUT then more fighting.

Anyway will they always be like this or should they eventually calm down?

the lil killers

:/ If they're fighting alot seperate them. Find a new home for one of them. Eventually one will win out and you'll find the other seriously injured or dead. :-( If they have females present then they will always be this way until one dies.
Hugs,
P.

didn't know that they'd even be that aggressive. But luckily none else is bothered. They all used to be so sweet, just swimming around, touching thier little fins and generally being nice, oh well. Back to the store for one of the little terrors

Yep, returning them is best - do you have honeys?
