Worried About Pregnant Platy.

My panda platy Kimono is pregnant, and there are a few things I find a bit worrying. At the back of her stomach there's a pinkish-red patch, but it's under her skin. I've heard that gravid spots will look red on white fish, but I'm still curious. Also, there's a scar-like stripe running down the underside of her belly. It looks just like she's gotten stitches

None of the other pregnant fish have those, and she isn't seeming lethargic or in pain.

The pinkish-red patch is the gravid spot. With my fish, it only turns red when she's at a certain angle while the light is on. As for the stitches, she has that two, and it didn't seem to hurt her at all. I wouldn't worry about it.
