im starting a african shell dweller tank so i need to raise the ph

atm its about 7.2..

what ph raising productworks well
and will my synodontis multipunctatus catfish be okay if i change the pH with them in the tank

also in there is a bn plec

i saw some ph raise solution in the shop, but this is why im asking, what do you recomend?

dont ever use those PH adjusting solutions....theyre the worst products you can use to adjust the PH it will more likely fluctuate and give the fish PH shock...your best bet is adding some ocean rock over a period of a few days

cooooool i will buy that then should i crush some?

thanks for the fast replys

theres alot of ocean rock in there already ... it didnt do much to the ph

For every 5 gallons of water, add 2 tablespoon of epson salts, 1 teaspoon of aquarium salt, and 1 teaspoon of Baking Soda, works wonders.
