Hi...i spoke too soon.
Bubbles my sunset Platy has a tiny cotton type growth on his mouth...ive seen him eat and rubbed up against a rock once.
My Blue Platy Lewis is constantly by his side chasing him around..I've heard this on here a few times..not really paid attention though.

One of my deep orange Platy's also looks poorly...he has a clamped top fin and is very quiet on the bottom of the tank, he hovers, so no probs getting about.. Saying that..he is now swimming around. But he kind of gasped mouth open wide. Then breathes fast for a few breaths then stops...

Just tested the water.
Amm = 0 Nitrite = 0 (Nitrate was 5 this am and ph 7.2 ...bit lower than usual)

What can i give them...also my hossie tank still isnt cycled...what do i do if they need seperating???

EDIT..he's gone to the bottom again (Tiger - deep orange platy)

I would do at least a 50% w/c and then dose with an anti-fungal med

i gave 5ml of Melafix diluted to 1-4 drop ratio. Will do a W/c and vac tonight before dosing..should i continue this dose for the 7 days suggested.
Tiger is back swimming around and Bubbles mouth fungus looks slightly better this morning.
