What type of plants are these?

    I found these plants in a creek I have no idea what kind. I put them in a bowl with some gravel and water and they started growing great.can anybody tell me what kind of plants these are. Sorry about my horrible camera.

    Hi and welcome to the forum :)

    Which country do you live in?
    Do you live in a city or remote country town?
    Are there many introduced fish in the local creek?
    Can we get a picture of the plant taken from the side so we can see the stem?

    I live in the u.s and in the country I believe that they naturally grew there. I also think they are only semi aquatic but I'm not sure.
