Saltwater fish and freshwater fish evolved independently for a reason. This is just playing nature

I have this weird dream/nightmare a lot that I see a tank somewhere that has little dogs swimming in it with fish.
And I'm absolutely horrified. I question the owner of the tank and they tell me they were bread to live this way.
I'm always in a panic and I want to take them out but they can't live outside of water.

I always wake up scared and upset.
Dear God, I hope this isn't next!!!

Yeah doubt this is healthy probably is brackish water is my guess.

Snail good assumption, turns out this has been around since the 80s and 90's I cant give details apparently, but it is a pure salt and freshwater mix With a Certain Chemical, I will have to do more research before I can give a whole speech. But no if it was brackish both of those fish would be dead.
