Would someone mind letting me know what lovely plant I'm growing here? It's on an ornament that is in the path of my filter outlet so it's getting plenty of oxygenated water. My corys seem to eat it sometimes. When it first started growing it was a mostly brown colour and I kind of scrubbed it off during a water change but it's still there and now turning a slightly red colour.

Is this something a malaysian trumpet snail would eat, as I've got some on the way?

looks like green dust algae mixed with dead green dust algae (the red stuff)

Oh man, I should say, really sorry, that the green, is just part of the colouring of my fake rock, lol, classy right?

GDA is an algae we all suffer from, from time to time. Theres a few things you can do, and thats manually remove it, either soaking in bleach or getting a nerite snail to eat it.
