A couple of months ago we introduced snails by accident on some salvinia but we didn't mind because they cleared up the algae.

Now i've started noticing this tiny white wiggly worm thing flicking around the tank, i've only seen one at a time so i don't know how many there are but is it anything to be worried about?

hi

i saw one of these in my tank yesterday too. my only thought is that as my gravel is quite deep it is just some kind of bacteria thing that grows in the gravel?

mine sound more like nematodes aswell but it says they shouldn't excede 4-5mm and i think mine are more like 10mm.

Also i'm pretty sure we don't overfeed as the piranhas have eaten all the food within seconds and if we did fast them for 3 days they'd eat each other instead!
