Here is my Ornate. Newest member(had about 1 month or 2) of my 75g that will soon be upgraded to maybe a 240g (anything from 125g-300g when I find the right one). She/he is about 4-5inches now was teeny when I first got it. Bred from wild caught parents. Named Baybay.. or Beeeasch..I tend to call it either one of those names so it has two names..why not.

I wish I could tell you my secret.. I just stuck a S!@t ton of plants in the tank and well... they lived! 
And thank you. I think the plants actually make the fish happy really. The bichir loves to hide in the watersprite forest sitting midway up looking really devilish in there.  I also have 3 clown loaches in there that enjoy taking the anacharis and a few other plants and tossing them at eachother then watch as the plants slowly go to the surface sadly like "but but...that was my toy..now what can I play with"
