My Electra Cichlid developed a pink growth on it's lip ( photo 1&2) while in my 220 gallon tank. I put him in my 30 gallon hospital tank. Later he developed a cloudy eye. I've tried Metroplex along with Kanaplex with no results. Furan 2 has helped the pink spot shown in photo 2 & 3 but as you can see the cloudy eye is getting worse and looking more like a growth of some kind. I don't want him to lose an eye though it may be too late. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I've had a mbuna get a similar cloudy eye. I treated it with salt and Tetra life guard but the eye was still lost. I'd try treating with more antibiotics and perhaps try salt dips/baths along with maybe some Methylene blue. The M. blue acts as a topical antibiotic and anti-fungal. Hypothetically it should kill off the bacteria on the eye. The salt baths will do the same.

Maybe look into some meds you can feed him?
