Hi,
I was looking at my tank water really closely and noticed tiny green hairs. Like if you look through a sunshaft and you see all the dust, its like that but they are green and like very short hairs.
There are ALOT of them and im worried, 1 they'll cause my fish's gills problems 2, they might be pieces of algae that will settle and grow.
The only thing I can think of is to do 100% water change, is this a good idea?
Thanks,
Tom

Sounds like an algae issue of some sort.

Have a look at this link and see if you can see anything similar to what your tank has, on the link it will give a brief description and possible ways to get rid of certain types of algae
