Tiger Barb problem

noticed one of my six tiger barbs has gotten much fatter in a short time ..mouth is moving open and closed quickly....is it carrying eggs or is this a tumor or other problem? Fish scales are protruding. All other tiger barbs and other fish are doing fine.

Should I quarantine it?

Well..the tiger barb died today...hopefully my other fish dont get whatever problem affected this fish.
