Tank stocking idea for 40g?

5 kuhli loaches
1 BN pleco
And any other suggestions for fish

What are the dimensions of the tank, and the pH and hardness of your water?

Do you have fish already and, if so, which ones?

This would not be a good tankmate for any sedate fish, like cichlids. The Serpae is known to fin nip among themselves unless kept in groups of 10+ but sedate fish are a temptation they usually cannot pass up.

My dimensions are 38L x 14W x 18H
My water PH is 6.5
And my hardness is 9 degrees German

My tank has no fish atm moment it’s on it’s 3rd week of a fishless cycle

Wouldn’t the arcara or the firemouth eat the kuhli loaches? I’ve been told convicts est them do wouldn’t the other cichlids??
