My 75 gallon tank started leaking rather rapidly this evening. I had a 20 gallon tank that I was able to put some water in and transfer my Cichlids to. I have probably 8 Peacock Cichlids in various sizes and one very large Pleco and on very small Pleco. Is overcrowding temporarily into this small
Tank better than transferring some to a smaller tank with no heat or filter? It should
Only be overnight until I replace my leaky tank.

Overnight will be fine, obviously not ideal but keeping them warm and filtered is the main priority until you can get the new tank set up.

Nightmare situation though, hope you get sorted.

Keep us posted!

Thank you! That’s just what I did. Bought a new tank the next evening and so far everyone is still alive! It was two nights of a lot of work. Nightmare is right! Lol
