Hello!
I have had my betta (Sir Henry) for about 3-4 years now and in the last year he has started swimming on his side occasionally. The first time this happened, I put him in a sick tank with warmer water and had him fast for a few days. My betta eventually pooped and started to act normal again. I switched his food to a higher quality and for 6 months he acted normal.
In the last month or so he has started to swim on his side occasionally no matter what I do.
He still wants to eat, has regular poops, and still acts happy to see me when I come near his bowl.
Along with him swimming weird, he might have a slightly faded color, but that could just be me being paranoid.
Does anyone have suggestions on what I should do? Do you think it is swimming bladder disorder?
