Suggestion About Usernames?

I was wondering if there was a way to implement a one time username change or something like that? I've heard that y'all use to allow members to change but it got overwhelming. I was just curious because now that I don't have any guppies my username doesn't make sense.

I believe you can only change it if you have under 60 posts or something

Get 2500+ posts. Then you can change your subtitle to ' Doesn't own guppies '
In all seriousness, you'd need to talk to the admins to get a name change. You'd have to be very nice though.

In general, we don't allow name changes, because it confuses other members about who you are. We have allowed it, in exceptional circumstances, in the past, but only for people who have very low post counts (ie < 3).

We tried to allow users to do this automatically once within a certain amount of posts but the forum software did not allow it to happen so I have to do it for the person. 
Once someone has any kind of reputation on the board at all we won't change names unless the name is offensive.
