Strange Platy Behaviour

she's been hiding in my cave a lot recently, and she also stays at the surface a lot...
i havent seen her eat much either?
is she pregnant...?
or sick...?

i have platies too and they stay at the top of the tank most all of the time..and they're not sick..as for the hiding, have you noticed if she's being hounded a lot by a male..if so maybe she's just looking for a quiet place to rest..
If she is pregnant, a lot of times they will go into seclusion before giving birth too i've noticed..hope this helps..

unfortunately she passed away 3 days ago...
i couldnt determine why, as she was being munched by snails...

i knew something was up...
