Stocking Suggestions For A 60L Tank?

Hello all,

I'm in the process of cycling my tank, and planning out what sort of fish to get. I'm having difficulty coming to any sort of decision though.

Been to my LFS and like the look of the neon tetras and the various kinds of guppies, but haven't found anything I really really like the look of. The only exception is the parrot cichlid, but after reading online I I don't think my tank would be big enough for it.

Any ideas? If you were given the task of filling a 60L tank, what would you put in it?

I'd stick to few species and greater numbers of them. Will look more natural.

Maybe some Panda Corys for the bottom and a shoal of Harlequin Rasbora then perhaps one centrepiece would look nice?

What would you suggest as a centrepiece? That's my hardest decision.

I have honestly no clue. I've only just got into fishkeeping. Still cycling (trying to, it doesnt seem to be doing all that much!) my first tank.
