    Hi All!

(First post, not sure if I stuck it in the right spot...)

Have several aquariums and just got a free 29 gallon. I really want a puffer tank but am interested in completely freshwater only. What would you recommend I stock it with????

Bonus points if I can fit a pair of German Blue Rams in too.

    Thanks in advance!!!

Potential stocking depends on water parameters out of the tap. Is your water soft or hard? What is the pH? Do you plan to use live plants or no?

If I could fully stock a brand new tank, I'd plant it and have a school of emperor tetras, a colony of cherry shrimp and a group of honey gourami, provided their needs are the same. I think emperor tetras have become a new favorite of mine after seeing some in a store, they are lovely.

If you are willing to have lots of live plants, you could try a Betta sorority.

Could you post the dimensions of the tank, along with the pH and hardness of your water, please?
