I have a teacup stingray(about 5inches diameter) and am wondering if a tyre track or fire eel would be compatible with it? Also there is a silver arowana if that would bother the eel(hes also small... maybe 4inches)

tank size is currently 75usgallons but am upgrading to a 180 soon so now worries.

Just wondering if the eels compatible, thanks

There shouldnt be any problems with keeping a tyre track or fire eel with rays, just make sure they all get enough food.

A silver arowana will eventually need a bigger tank than a 180 and a 75 is only really suitable for a few months or a year at tops.

Please refer to CFC'S Oddball index at the top of Oddball's Institute.

TEACUPS DO NOT STAY SMALL!!!!

I wish that LFS would a warning label on these tanks that sell teacups
And there is no such thing as a teacup, it is just an undetermined ray.

Teacup stingrays are juvenile unidentified rays, usually reticulatus, oribignyi and hystrix, they will all grow to be 14" or over.
There are no small rays.

How do I insert pics in the posts please?

I think they will get on OK, ours do, but small eels and largish rays will not mix

the smallest type of ray is scobina at around 12inch if you can find them they are fairly cheap
