just wonderd what silicone to use for making a few caves heard from sum people that if i can get 100% silicone this is ok to use any advice also i bought a hot glue gun with clear glue sticks wunderd if i could use these thnksonli 16 any tips would be appreciated

well if your making aves out of rocks (usually the case) then people use miliput (deltec make it) this is mostly used in marine where people make caves etc from their live rock. A hot glue gun would most probably leach bad chemicals into the water, unless people tell you otherwise i wouldnt use it. I dont think silicone would work, if it does then "Geoce" make an aquarium safe silicone, it usually retaisl for about £4 per 75g tube, this is quite a lot eventhough it doesnt look that much when written here.

Hope that helps

OTHERWISE ! LOL I have used hotmelt glue gun for several years without issue, provided you make SURE the sticks you use dont contain fungicides etc .

Good old superglue is another cheap option... 5 tubes for a quid, from poundshops.
