puffer fish actually puffing

hi there. i dont have any puffers although i would like some but i dont currently have a tank for them but im curios to know if they do ever actually puff up.(obviously they do and its probably not a good thing) but how often do they actually do this.

Very rarely unless under extreme fear, I have had one for 4 years and never seen her do it. I had a trio some time back, 2 males, 1 female and only ever saw one of the males do it just once when they got into a fight but it was blink and you'll miss it!

Never a good sign. Had a SAP puff twice and died in a matter of weeks
