Pregnant or not?

My platy is huge not sure if she is pregnant or just very fat..
Has not been around another platy for about 4 months since her companion passed away. Anyone have any ideas?

Pregnancy is a possibility, as livebearers (such as platys and guppies) can store sperm after mating and become pregnant multiple times after one mating. There is a spot directly in front of the anal fin that has become prominent in your girl; it looks like a little bump. This would suggest that she is pregnant, in my experience with livebearers (and the inevitable little livebearers). At this stage, it's hard for me to say either way. Keep an eye on her.
