So ive recently set up a new 5 gallon dwarf puffer tank with flourite under the gravel. I put about 1 inche of flourite then 1 inche of gravel on top. is this right? i didnt rinse the flourite (should i have?) and added my plants. i put in a bunch of spiral vals 1 java fern and 1 amazon sword. when i filled the water i realized i needed to change something and a bunch of it clouded the tank. to aid with cleaning it up i put a HOB filter on and it cleared up in a few hours. is this going to happen anytime i want to rescape?

i already want to change some of the plant arrangments and am hesitating because it might cloud the water again.

any tips next time or ways to avoid this are welcome, thanks

Clouding usually occurs with any substrate, it also releases ammonia which can cause an algae outbreak so it is advised to do a 50% water change everyday for a few days after ( depending on how much substrate you kicked up)
