Can anyone tell me what this plant is called? We bought 5 pieces of it about 3 weeks ago around 10 in in length and it just won't stop growing... It's covering the tank - makes fantastic hidey places for the fry!

It's a bit difficult to see, but I'd guess Limnophila sessiliflora. It tolerates a wide range of water chemistry and a fast grower under good lighting.

I will get a better picture now and edit this post.

Hang on

It is Limnophila sessiliflora, I have some in my tank and constantly need to keep trimming it back- as a result I also have loads of guppy babies as they hide in it and no-one eats them!

Will this thrive in Brackish Water? Salinity is 1.004.

Thanks

I love this plant. I purchased two today, they are just so delicate and pretty and they really stand out in an aquarium.

Stunning plant indeed. Watch it grow aswell... And also - you may see things like this in it... Well hidden fry... We are surprised by how many have survived in this stuff...
