I Have a 45 gallon tank with 2 internal filters and a heater (not under gravel). I have two black Mollies that are going to go in the tank. I want to get a Peacock eel but I want to know a few things fist. My mollies are about 1 month old and about 2" long, by the time the eel is full grown will they be full grown to. If they are not will the eel eat them? Also what should I feed the eel when he is a baby and when he is an adult?

feeding them is the hardest part. They like to eat things that wriggle often meaning live food but ideally you want them on frozen. Lots of peacock eels fade away and struggle in our tanks because they just don't eat. Also you need to make sure they are eating when foods going in yu can usually tell as their head stabs the food and makes a motion as swallowing the food
