Noisy Hailea Air Pump

I just purchased a hailea aco- 9610 air pump , it has four outlets and air adjustable .... But damm it's noisy... Can anyone recommend a quiet air pump . It needs good power and at least 4 outletts as my tank is 6ft long and 24 inches deep ... Thanx

avoid the cheapo ones on ebay, I bought one from there and I have to mess around with the impeller while its switched on to get it quiet. I use a wooden skewer to mess around with the impeller through the vent while its in operation and somehow it shuts up lol

I noticed that the impeller moves back and forth slightly, I told the seller who then gave me a refund, so probably faulty.

hydor ones supposed to be brilliant? Thinking of getting one


edit: just realised you were on about an air pump! sorry I don't use one
