thanks mikey11 this is going to be a very bumpy ride but im ready for it

Do you live near the ocean? I'm planning a tank using collected water from offshore. By blacking out the water a and fine-filtering it can be done

no but i would not reccomend trying ocean water as it may contain parsites not found in reef waters if thats where your at thats fine but im in glasgow scotland so i dont have that choice.

I was leaning toward a kelp forest type of environment. Would that even be possible? Would I have to replicate the same pressure?
