Hi Guys,
I'm new to FishForums, and relatively new to keeping fish (approx 14 months), I have joined the forum to aid in my eternal quest for fishkeeping knowledge
At the moment I have a LoveFish 64 tank, however, after many months of badgering, I have finally been given the go ahead from my wife to buy a Juwel Rio 300, which I ordered yesterday (10/02/18)
As you could probably gather from the first paragraph, I am fairly inexperienced with fish, and have made many mistakes, and still make mistakes...
My current tank is very probably overstocked, which is why I was so desperate for a larger tank. I have -
- 1 Gourami (Richard, named by my 3 year old)
- 1 Rainbow Shark (Sharky, not very imaginative)
- 1 Clown Loach (George, named by wife)
- 1 Female Betta (Julia, named by wife)
- 3 Rosy Tetra
- 4 Cardinal Tetra
- 4 Black Phantom
I have been 'chastised' by the 'Pets@Home experts' for keeping a Rainbow Shark in this tank, however, he (she?) Is one of the most placid fish I have, I have also been told that the number of fish I have is ok for my current tank...
I am very much looking forward to delivery of my new tank so I can give the fish the space they deserve.
