Hi Everyone,
I wanted to take a moment and introduce myself. My wife and I have moved to Taiwan from the U.S. for work. In July we decided that we would like to get into the aquarium hobby and purchased a 20 gallon tank with all of the bells and whistles. Like so many other posts that we have read, we did everything wrong. We filled the tank, added some Prime, waited a week then added fish...too many fish. As you might expect, we experienced many problems. I will create another post describing how it all played out so that other members and their aquatic friends may benefit. Thanks to the many helpful member posts on this site we were able to fix our mistakes. We now have upgraded from the 20 gallon to a 40 gallon which is fully cycled and stable with mostly Rummy nose tetras that seem very healthy, active, and brightly colored. Again we would like to thank everyone and we hope to be able to help others on here as well.
