Hahaha MTS (multiple tank syndrome) hitting early.

I am with you on the oto. If you plan on getting it company, your tank might be the better option. But be aware that they don't eat all sort of algae and what looks like suitable food for you might not be eaten.

She who must be obeyed wasn't particularly impressed when I arrived back with the tank hehe. I'm certain the Oto is eating the Algae, after I place it in the tank he'll quickly find his way on to it and spends the rest of the day scraping it clean. There is a big spot of Diatoms forming on the back pane of glass that I notice has little clean patches on where he likes to hang out so I'm certain he is feeding well... To be a little more crude he is also defecating loads which suggests as much!
