My convicts bred again and I am trying to keep as many fry as possible. I was told there was a net that could be placed in the bottom part of the tank to keep the fry separate from the other fish. Does anyone know of such an item. Nets that hang on the edge of the tank don't work because the fry stay at the bottom of the tank. Thanks.

why not leave the fry in with the adults convicts are very good at looking after their babies

Convict cichlids are prolific breeders and not big sellers so there is no point keep large numbers of baby fish. Leave the babies to get eaten by the other fish and if you want to keep some, keep 10 in a separate tank. But don't waste your time keeping more than 10 because you won't be able to get rid of them.
