Hi

I have a reasonably new setup and I'm having problems with one of my 6 neon tetras.

The neon which is having trouble is incredibly skinny and hasn't eaten
for days, he's missing his tail because he was attacked by a small
gourami (which has since been given to a friend) I've been watching him
deteriorate for a few days now and just don't know what to do to help
him, today I went out and bought a isolation tank which he is currently
in but he is still not eating. His colours have faded and he looks very
ill whilst the other neons bought at the same time are all healthy.

All other fish are fine and healthy and growing, water levels are all
fine and when I feed the fish I always watch them eat and can see all
other fish in the tank eating including all of the other 5 neons.

I dont know if I have done the right thing by isolating him, he wasnt
being picked on by any other fish but he wasnt swimming with the other
neons and wasnt eating at all, food could float right past him in front
of him and he just doesnt seem to care. Also the past couple of days he
started hanging around at the top of the tank (i dont know if this is
relevant) but its not for food because i put some in right next to him
and he just didnt care

Is there anything I can do for him?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
