i think one of my mussels is hatching the larvae , i am fairly sure it is the right time of year..... What do you think...?
if you cant really see there is like a stream of little dots pouring out of the mussle they do kinda look different sized and the guppies are hanging out munching on them..

Mussels normally expel eggs or sperm, which mix in the water and float about the surface for a short time before the fertilised eggs hatch. The dots being expelled are probably eggs that are being eaten by the guppies. When bivalves expel sperm there will be a milky coloured cloud that squirts out.
