Midas Cichlid

I was at my LFS at the weekend and got a couple of Bolivian Rams. In the tank next to them was a Midas Cichlid (Whatever that is?) Anyway the shop had about 4 of them, all in seperate tanks on their own. Apparantly they grow to 10". They were a snip at £3.99. I really wanted one, but the guy said it would be like having Hanibal Lectar in my Tank

Does anyone know anything about them? Are they really that Bad

Yep, that and the red devil is my fav fish. The fish you saw was probably a labiatus X citrinellus cross as I don't think any lfs has pure strains.

I have one and I would never even dream of putting him in a tank with another fish (unless of course that fish is dinner! ) He's brutal
