Could someone tell me what type of fish is the star of photo #13?
That is a german blue ram. but be careful if yu a looking to get one because they are very finiky with their water quality. I think bolivian rams make better additions to communities.

So many deserving fish! Why did they all have to be in on the same month!?

One thing I wonder though, is it possible to somehow standardise the size that they display on the screen? I fear that some of the ones that show up smaller may lose impact just because you can't see the detail as well...just a thought :)

Agreed... I think it'd be best for level-playing-field to have them the same size for voting or at least very similar.

You're asking Ludwig to put even more work in than he does already. He isn't on this planet solely for the use of members of TFF, he has a life as well. I don't think it's reasonable to demand he modifies each photo to a standard size. If people feel they are disadvantaged by a small photo, there are plenty of free graphics manipulation programs available, they can do it themselves.

Wow who peed in your cornflakes this morning? There are many solutions to this problem one being giving members a recommended size to post their entires in...

now remove your panties from your crack and get on with your life

Oh and Ludwig, would you mind fetching me a cup of tea? I'm a bit parched...

There's no way I'd expect a mod to resize each entry. Another forum I'm in just has it as one of the rules - the size photo you post has to be 640 x 480 or smaller. That's just the size they chose - it could be anything, obviously. It's definitely been helpful on that forum, and the mods don't need to do anything other than post the rules.

Thank you :) I'm not looking to add new fish to my current stock, but that fish was so striking I just had to ask!

I HAD to vote for #14, absolutely beautiful, I can only dream of taking a picture anywhere near as good as that :S

And here I am just trying to get everyone to post their photos in IMG format....... That alone will reduce my workload by 50%....

In the dog forum, they don't include the photos by those who don't follow the rules, so it's out of the mods' hands other than maybe notifying the rule-breaker that unless they modify their entry it won't be included in the voting process.

You could do that for the IMG format and the size. You just gotta be meaner.
