I have seen a lot of different fish diseases, but when this one came up, I was dumbfounded... Does anyone know what this is or how to fix it? My guess would be a tumor growth, but it also shows signs of fungal, bacterial or parasitic... My water levels are fine, so it's not stress from that. I hope someone knows how to cure this!

I'm leaning towards parasitic. First thing that comes to mind is gill flukes. Might want to dose the entire tank rather than quarantining the one fish, it's possible that other have it but aren't showing major symptoms like this one is.

Ya, I thought it possibly was, but it's so weird... I didn't think it was fungal because there's nothing that looks like a cloud. Bacterial could be it, but I couldn't find anything like that. I thought it was flukes, bu there's nothing online like this... I guess I'll treat it for paracites and if it heals, I'll let everyone know!
