Little Growth On Little Betta

Hello, first time poster here. Sorry if this has been covered, I haven't had a chance to lurk just yet. Anyway, my little fighter, Mogwai, has just started spotting some kind of growth (looks pus like) and I'm just wondering if anyone could let me know what's happening and what I should do. Sorry for low quality photo, he's still swimming and eating fine.

Is it on his belly? It could be an egg spot... but we need a photo to know for sure.
