Hi all,
Im setting up my first aquarium. Its 4ft with a depth of 11 inches.
The tank will be planted and i want a led that will be compatible with a timer and also have a night light.
Im quite stuck on what to get, i dont understand what power i need for the shallowness of my tank.
I also dont want to break the bank.
Thanks!

I haven't found a good LED light for plants myself, but I think some of the other members here might have some recommendations. As for compatibility with a timer, though, as long as it plugs into an electrical outlet, a basic outlet timer from the hardware section of WalMart will work. They cost like $5 (US) each. Maybe less.

Not quite right, If the light has a standard on/off switch it will work, if it has one of those touch on/off sensor it wont work.
