At a recent aquarium society auction I purchased a breeding pair of kribensis. I already have one confirmed male in my 75 gallon, and I was wondering if I could put the new pair in with him. WIll the 2 males fight? And what will happen to the female? The tank is extremely densely planted and offers many hiding spots. Would the fish be ok?
Thanks,
-CF :D

To be honest I would not risk it even in such a large tank. To have a chance of breeding then rearing fry I think they need to be on there own. Maybe some one has had success with two males and can give you more advice.

Definitely no expert, but based on my personal experience with two males, especially if breeding is what you want to do... those two males will fight and even my female would attack the unwanted male.
