Just Ordered New Light And Have A ?

I just ordered this light for my 25gal. http/www.hellolights.com/242xcoluaqho.html Do I need a glass lid over my tank then the light, or can I just mount the light over the water? This is all new to me, I've been a freshwater guy for many years. Is that light going to be good enough for some corals? My tank is 24" wide x 20" tall x 12" deep.

get the legs for it and you will be fine

Thanks, I see you have a bio wheel filter also. I have the Penquin 200b on mine and have read on the forums that the wheel should be removed? I dont have a skimmer. I just also ordered the Maxi Jet 1200 powerhead with my lights for more turnover with the filter. I have 40lbs of live sand and 31lbs of live rock once my last order arrives. From what I have read, that should be a good ratio for my 25 gal tank?

Yeah, with that much PC lighting you should be able to keep softies and LPS, but nothing too light-demanding.
