The June 2015 Fish of the Month Competition is now open 

 
 
 
Please start posting entries and nominations for the June 2015 competition here.

Please note that a dated verification picture must be provided or the entry will not be accepted.

The standard of the entries in the competition so far has been very high, so lets keep them coming please!

If you have not done so already, please read the rules before submitting a nomination or entry.

The June competition will close for entries and nominations on ~ 15th June 2015.

Due to lack of entries the contest has been cancelled for this month.
 
The moderator team will discuss the future of the contests and what can be done to make them more meaningful and stir the competitive spirit in members.

I'd love to enter, but I think I'm a little too new... I have a beautiful male fire mouth cichlid, and a male purple spotted gudgeon which I think people will at least appreciate seeing

Yeah, you'll need 60 posts and to have been a member for 60 days.
You should still post pics though in another thread. I'm sure I'm not the only one who would love to see the purple spotted gudgeon

Why cant I reply to an old thread, suppose the OP still lurks here in the shadows? I still wish to give my opinion or question, statement etc. Reason I posted in this is because I couldn't find any other. Thanks for asking why, and thanks for answering.

Well I will go ahead and tell you why you can't reply on old threads.Because the question (with it being so old) has already been answered and it drowns out the newer threads because there has been activity on this one.
