When I woke up today I noticed one of my black molly's was on laying on the bottom of the tank. I figured it was dead so I grabbed my net to scoop it out, but it swam away really fast. A few minutes later it was back laying on the ground. Is it sick? Could it be pregnant? I have no idea, so any advice would be awesome.

Here's a picture (not the best though, it's trying to hid)

How many gallons, or litres is the tank?
Full stocking list.
Test results in - ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph.

Does the molly keep crashing on the bottom of the tank?
Does she lean on her side when resting?
Does her body appearance look pale, or darker in colour?
Is the fish gasping?
Any signs of red streaking in the fins, or red patches on her body.
Does she look bloated in the tummy area.

55 gallon- guppies, mollies, red wigs, gourami, angels, cories, pleco.
Test results are good, just checked the other day.

Does the molly keep crashing on the bottom of the tank? Yes, only place it's staying
Does she lean on her side when resting? No
Does her body appearance look pale, or darker in colour? Not that I can tell
Is the fish gasping? No
Any signs of red streaking in the fins, or red patches on her body? No
Does she look bloated in the tummy area? No, skinny if anything

Best picture I could get :(

Not sounding good I'm afraid.

How old is she?
Has she lost weight due to not feeding?

I have only had it for about a month :( They eat every morning, I never noticed it not eating..

Check all your fish for the following -
Long stringy white poo, clear mucas poo, red poo.
Do any other fish look skinny in the tank.
Any fish show signs of sunken in bellies, or sunken eyes.
Do any fish have curbed spines.

The only thing that I have seen with the other fish is white stringy poo.. is this bad? If so whats normal?

Is the poo long white and stringy.

White poo can be an indication of constipation, internal parasites bacterial infection.

Need to know what you feed your fish.

Introduce some green veg into there diet.

Cook some frozen peas in boiling water for a few minutes.
Once they have cooled down, pop out of shell.
Crush into small pieces and add to the tank.

If no difference in the fish waste in a few days. Get back to the board.

Ryan they might turn there noses up at the peas the 1st time. But keep trying.

Oh wow, I forgot to say that my molly didn't end up making it, but I found 1 small fry this morning in the tank! I'm assuming the molly that died might have died from being pregnant? Does this happen often? The fry is in a mess tank now where it can grow up safe :) Do you know what I need to feed it?

I was just going to ask you about the sick fish.
Bless Her.
She didn't sound to good.
:rip:
