120 gl heavily planted floating and submerged. Ammonia 0 nitrite 0 nitrate 5 pH 6.4 hardness 3dh.

I was watching my tank after feeding frozen food and when I do this the food will settle on the plant leaves. After all food was out of the water and settled, one of my female pearls was knocking the leaves with her head and grabbing the food the shook loose. She has learned that this behavior will get her more food. It was really cool to watch.

if you offer a little bit of food and let them eat it, then offer a bit more, you will have less settle to the bottom. Just add a few bits at a time, let the fish eat it, then add more. :)

I want it to go to the bottom for the corys, farlowella and the crabs.

I know people don’t like crabs with fish but I haven’t had any problems.
