I was trying to get an ID on this fish. I've done some digging and found a few different species that it could be since its not full grown yet. It is starting to get orange behind its gills and on top of its dorsal.

The closest I have found is Aulonocara Rubescens but I can't be sure as don't have a lot of experience with these fish and it's young so difficult to say but the orange coming through is promising, stunning fish when adult!

Hello! Just wondering, but do you have a rough estimate on it's length? To me it looks like female peacock of some sort, but it's hard to say exactly what species because all female peacocks tend to look pretty much the same :/ I'd say if the fish is over two and a half inches it's probably a female because male peacocks usually start showing color when they're 2.25-2.75 inches.
