Ich treatment for Spotted Pictus Catfish

Has anyone who enjoys keeping these beautiful catfish found a successful treatment for ich that they are not allergic to? I had my previous three get wiped out by a treatment of malachite green, and have since read that most catfish can't stand the table salt method either. These fish are easily my favorites in my tank, and I want to be prepared to deal with the problems that will arise in my tank in a way that will keep them healthy and happy. Thanks in advance for the help!

Me too, i would like to see the answer to this one!

These are also my favourite fish in my tank....
I realise these are shoaling fish, but i have only ever successfully kept 1 in a tank.... i have had problems with 2 in tank - they kept fighting....

Anyhow - eagerly awaitng a response to thie post ;-)
