How long does dwarf sage take to start to spread and grow?

About a month ago I ordered some dwarf sage for my 10gal tank. Since then nothing really has happened growth wise. How long should it take to start growing?

In my experience it is slower than the very similar chain swords. But even they do not usually send out runners (which is what I assume you mean by "growing") for a time. I have never kept record on just how long, but it is closer to a couple of months than a few weeks. Once they do, they can really spread rapidly.
