Hi fishkeepers.. wave makers ?

    iv got a 40gallon/170liter tropical tank, is a wave maker a good idea?

    I have 6x dwarf gourami's some mollies and guppy's

    You don't need a wavemaker for those fish. They're all quite sedate and don't want, or like, a lot of fast moving water. As long as your filter is big enough for the tank, and rippling the surface of the water, that should be all you need.

    If you had zebra danios, or hillstream loaches, species like that, it might be different.
