Hi everyone, just getting back into fish keeping after a break, been keeping fish for around 30 years, some great new tech out there, one thing I have noticed is the Internal UV filters available, such as the Aquael unifilter, has anyone used one of these filters? just wondering if the LED UV's are replaceable or cleanable, ive had UV,s on marine systems for years, so in wondering if these units are any good.

I have no idea about the UV unit but maybe someone else will.

UV's completely wipe out all of the bacteria in the tank. Last resort to use. A Hob/sponge filters are just as great and not as expensive.

UVs aren't neccessary for tropical. They don't do any harm but also no benefit so you may as well save your money.
